1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you (the business subscribing to the service, referred to as "you") and Lekhakaar, a sole proprietorship owned by Mr. Dev Vrat Singh ("we", "us").
By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
2. What the service is
Lekhakaar provides business record-keeping software delivered over the internet. The service is provided as it stands, for you to use for your own business records.
These terms cover the Rice Mill Management System.
These terms cover the Pharmacy Management System.
Other products may be added. Each has its own page of terms, reachable from the choice above.
3. Free trial
New accounts receive 30 days of full access, free of charge. No payment details are required to begin the trial.
At the end of the trial, an account that has not been paid for moves to read-only access. Your records remain available to view and download. See section 8.
The trial exists so that you can satisfy yourself the software suits your business before paying. Please use it fully.
4. Plans and charges
Prices depend on which product you subscribe to and how many people use it. The table below is read from the live system, so it always shows what is currently charged.

All prices are in Indian Rupees. Taxes, where applicable, are charged in addition.
Prices may change. Any change will be notified at least 30 days in advance and will not affect a period already paid for.
5. What is included, and what is not
Included in a paid subscription or under the maintenance charge:
- Correction of faults in features that already exist
- Regular updates and improvements to the service
- Support by phone, WhatsApp or email during reasonable hours
Not included:
- New features built specifically for your business. These are quoted and
charged separately, and agreed in writing before work begins.
- Recovery of records that you have deleted yourself
- Training beyond initial setup, and on-site visits
6. Your account and your staff
You are responsible for who you give access to, and for what they do with it. Keep passwords private. Tell us at once if you believe an account has been misused.
You must give accurate information when registering, and keep your contact details current — we use them to warn you before a subscription ends.
7. Your records belong to you
The records you enter remain yours. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone else except where the law requires it.
You may download all of your records at any time, in full, using the backup feature inside the service.
We hold your records so that we can provide the service to you, and for no other purpose.
8. When a subscription ends
If a subscription ends and is not renewed:
- The account moves to read-only — records can be viewed and downloaded,
but nothing new can be entered
- Your records are kept for one calendar year from that date
- We will warn you by email and WhatsApp 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before the
end of that year
- After that year, the account and its records may be deleted permanently
Please download your records before that year is out. Once deleted they cannot be recovered.
9. Payments and refunds
Payment is due in advance for the period being purchased.
Payments are not refundable. The 30-day free trial is provided so that you can decide, at no cost and without obligation, whether the service suits your business before any money changes hands.

10. Availability
We aim to keep the service running at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of failures at services we depend on, or for reasons outside our control.
We will give notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can.
11. What we are not liable for
The service is a record-keeping tool. You remain responsible for the accuracy of what is entered, and for your own compliance with tax, regulatory and other legal obligations.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost business or lost opportunity.
Our total liability in any twelve-month period will not exceed the amount you paid us in that period.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service at any time. Charges already paid are not refunded.
We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, if payment is not made, or if the service is used unlawfully. Where we do so, we will tell you why and give you a reasonable opportunity to download your records.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version will always be at www.lekhakaar.com/terms.html, with the date it was last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, will have jurisdiction.
